ACTA unveils biggest-ever Grand Trade Shows for 2026 industry summits
The Association of Canadian Travel Agencies and Travel Advisors (ACTA) is promising its largest trade show program to date as part of its 2026 Travel Industry Summits in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver this fall.
The 2026 Grand Trade Shows will bring together travel advisors, agencies, suppliers, destinations and industry partners from across Canada and around the world for three networking-focused events designed to foster new business opportunities and industry connections.
According to ACTA, the shows will feature a record number of exhibitor booths, giving travel advisors the chance to discover new products, destinations and business opportunities. Complimentary food and beverages will be available throughout each event.
Cruise Pavilion
A major attraction at the Toronto and Vancouver summits will be a dedicated Cruise Pavilion, showcasing more than 25 cruise brands spanning river, expedition, luxury, premium and contemporary ocean cruising.
The pavilion will give travel advisors an opportunity to meet directly with cruise partners, learn about the latest ships and itineraries, and expand their knowledge of the cruise sector.
Artificial intelligence & marketing
Toronto attendees will also have access to an educational session focused on artificial intelligence and travel marketing.
Titled Can you be Found but Not Seen?, the interactive presentation will be led by Ryan McElroy, CEO of Travel Agency Tribes.
The session will examine how travellers are increasingly using AI-powered answer engines to research and book travel, while introducing advisors to the concept of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).
Attendees will learn how authentic, story-driven content can improve visibility, build credibility and attract more qualified clients.
Beyond the trade show floor, ACTA's Travel Industry Summits will feature a General Assembly with keynote speakers, leadership panels and discussions examining the trends and issues shaping Canada's travel industry.
Attendance is complimentary for travel advisors and includes food and beverages throughout the day.
While exhibitor space is nearly full, registration remains open for travel advisors.
ACTA has also published the full list of confirmed Grand Trade Show sponsors and exhibitors on its event website.
