TTC Tour Brands revamps groups program with expanded advisor benefits
(TTC Tour Brands)

TTC Tour Brands has unveiled what it calls the most significant refresh of its Groups Program to date, introducing a range of enhancements designed to make group bookings easier, more flexible and more rewarding for travel advisors across its portfolio of brands.

The updated program applies to Scheduled Groups, Custom Groups, Small Groups and Trafalgar River Cruises, spanning Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, Costsaver and Brendan Vacations.

"Travel advisors deserve tools that match the ambition of their groups business,” said Melissa DaSilva, deputy CEO and chief sales officer of TTC Tour Brands, in a press release.

"This is a huge step up for our Groups Program. We’ve listened closely to what advisors need most, and these enhancements allow advisors to be more efficient with real-time visibility, faster confirmations and stronger benefits so they can book with confidence, compete on value and deliver experiences their clients will never forget.”

A major focus of the revamped program is Custom Groups, which TTC Tour Brands says remains a unique offering within the guided touring industry.

Available for groups of 15 or more guests, the program allows advisors to create fully customized itineraries tailored to a group's interests and travel goals, whether for multigenerational family reunions, affinity groups or special-interest travel.

Each itinerary is built from the ground up, with TTC Tour Brands' dedicated Groups Specialists providing support from the planning stage through departure.

Faster bookings, locked-in pricing

Across the broader Groups Program, TTC Tour Brands has introduced enhancements aimed at improving speed, transparency and communication during the booking process.

The company says advisors will benefit from improved booking capabilities, enhanced two-way communication and faster confirmations, while group pricing will now be locked in at the time of reservation, offering greater pricing certainty for both advisors and their clients.

Advisors can also combine eligible in-market promotions with group benefits across TTC Tour Brands' touring portfolio, creating more competitive pricing opportunities.

The Scheduled Groups program has also been simplified with updated deposit and release timelines.

To help advisors navigate the changes, TTC Tour Brands will host a webinar on July 29 titled Group Sales Made Easy with Trafalgar, covering enhancements across Scheduled Groups, Custom Groups and Trafalgar River Cruises.

New perks for small groups & river cruises

The refreshed program also expands benefits for Small Groups.

Advisors can now place holds on groups of nine to 10 guests, with additional inventory available upon request. They can choose from several incentives, including a five per cent group discount, 50 per cent off for the 10th guest or a complimentary 18th guest. These offers can also be combined with eligible promotional discounts.

Trafalgar River Cruises is introducing its own enhanced groups program, featuring stackable offers, group discounts and a new Groups Amenity Points (GAP Points) rewards program.

The new GAP Points can be redeemed for onboard experiences such as beverage packages, shore excursions and onboard credit.

Additional river cruise group benefits include up to one complimentary place for every eight guests on select departures, flexible group structures and enhanced launch offers for 2027 sailings.

Advisors can also take advantage of a river group incentive available through July, while bookings for 2028 river cruises will open in August, allowing advisors to secure future group business earlier.
