Ensemble looks ahead to 2016
Ensemble Travel Group will hold its 2016 international conference from Oct. 19 through 23, at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego.
Business entrepreneur Robert Herjavec, best known for his appearances on television shows Dragon’s Den and Shark Tank, will be the keynote speaker at the conference. A champion of small business, Herjavec’s path to success will be of particular interest and relevance to Ensemble members and partners.
Other major Ensemble recognition and training events next year for Canadian members include:
- The 2016 Ensemble Top Producers Celebration will be held May 11-17 in Seville, Spain. This annual event, which recognizes the organization’s top-producing members in Canada and the U.S., also includes business activities with Ensemble executives and supplier sponsors. Selection criteria are based on members’ 2015 sales performance with Ensemble Travel Group’s preferred partners.
- The annual Ensemble Executive Retreat for Canadian members will be held April 17-20, 2016 at the oceanfront Oak Bay Beach Hotel, Victoria, BC. The multi-day event is specially designed for Ensemble agency owner/managers to zero in on growing their business. The program also features several business meetings, one-on-one sessions with participating preferred partners, team-building activities, and a number of social events. Guest educators for the 2016 event will be announced later this fall.
- The 2016 OASIS event will be held June 10-11 at The Fairmont Royal York in Toronto and April 29-30 in Montreal (venue pending). This annual hands-on popular training event is designed for Ensemble frontline agents in Canada to fine-tune their selling skills and interact with more than 70 preferred partners during exchanges, training sprints, and trade show. Plans are currently being finalized for the keynote speaker and guest educator, and will be announced soon.
- Ensemble EXTRAORDINARY!, a series of one-day business and educational events for Canadian members, begins with a business-focused session for agency owners/managers in the morning. The afternoon is designed for frontline agents to gain a greater knowledge of select extraordinary and experiential destinations and higher-margin products from a number of Ensemble’s niche and specialty partners. Seven Ensemble EXTRAORDINARY! sessions will be held across Canada in March, with the final event in Montreal in December.
