Travelport integrates nexusCMT to automate commissions, boost agent revenue

Travelport has announced a new partnership with Farenexus to integrate its nexusCMT contract management tool into the Travelport+ platform. 

The move gives travel agencies and TMCs access to real-time commission insights and automated processes aimed at reducing manual work and improving profitability.

The integration shows available earnings at the point of sale, allowing agents to see commission opportunities instantly as they book. Travelport says this can help agencies make more profitable choices while improving accuracy and service.

“This partnership reflects our commitment to equipping travel agencies with smarter tools that drive commercial success,” said Fahim Khan, Travelport’s senior vice-president of product. 

“By integrating nexusCMT into Travelport+, we're helping agents reduce errors, improve transparency, and unlock new revenue opportunities through automation and real-time insights.”

• Reducing errors: “Automated commission applications can help reduce the occurrence of Agency Debit Memos (ADMs)”

The partnership marks the first phase of a broader collaboration between Travelport and Farenexus, whose 150-person development team created nexusCMT. 

The tool is now live for Travelport+ customers, offering automated commission handling and smarter contract management from the point of booking.
