Travcom celebrates 50th anniversary, highlights ClientLinq platform

Travcom, a provider of back-office and CRM technology for travel agencies, is marking its 50th anniversary. Founded in 1976, the company says its ClientLinq platform is designed to bring agencies' front-office, back-office and other tools together in one system.

Travcom, which began with back-office accounting technology, says its focus has been supporting agents so they can concentrate on sales and manage their businesses. It later developed ClientLinq for CRM, digital tools and online systems.

Enter Clientlinq

According to the company, Travcom was a pioneer in back-office accounting systems, and in 2012 it founded ClientLinq, a web-based CRM and invoicing platform designed to support host agencies and independent travel advisors by keeping all of their data from multiple systems in one place.

"Technology has changed dramatically since Travcom began in 1976, but our purpose has remained remarkably consistent: to give travel professionals better tools to work more efficiently, serve their clients better and grow their businesses," said Michael Miocevich, general manager, Travcom Canada & ClientLinq.

He added: "Today, ClientLinq represents the evolution of that experience—bringing the front office, back office and the tools agencies increasingly need together into one connected ecosystem. We call it the Power of One, and as proud as we are of our first 50 years, we're even more excited about what we can help our customers accomplish next."

The company shared that ClientLinq enables independent advisors to manage their client profiles, automates invoicing and accurately tracks commissions.

In 2020, Travcom expanded into mobile app marketplaces by launching the ClientLinq TravelDocs app for iOS and Android, giving advisors mobile access to the technology.

ClientLinq described as "an integrated solution"

Travcom says today's agency may be using any or all of the following platforms: CRM, back office, itinerary software, forms, website tools, marketing platforms, group management, client communications and AI tools. While the individual technologies may work well, the company says, collectively they can create technology fragmentation.

According to Travcom, ClientLinq addresses that with an integrated, end-to-end solution. The company says ClientLinq supports advisors from booking to balance sheet and everything in between, addressing the complexity of multiple platforms.

"Clientlinq has significantly improved efficiency across our office," said Sandra Lombardi, co-owner, Luv to Travel. "Invoicing is kept up to date. Automation has given the team the invaluable gift of time; time to focus on what matters, speaking to clients, growing the business, curating trips of a lifetime, as well as allowing a work life balance. No more working late hours to catch up on invoicing."

Gregory Luciani, president & CEO, TravelOnly agrees: "'When advisors join TravelOnly I want them to have the tools and technology to run their business with confidence from day one. ClientLinq is an important part of that. It helps them stay on top of client details so they can spend more time selling travel and looking after their clients.'
