The contest, which drew plenty of engagement and feedback from readers, is a great example of the shift in focus which PAXnews.com has taken in regards to content on our social media channels: providing shareable news (such as destination and property profiles) appealing to both our industry readers and their clients.
In addition, we've given trade-specific news increased prominence with this week's launch of the Travel Pros Lounge, a new section on PAXnews.com just for Canadian travel professionals created in response to requests from our industry readers. This new section features content such as trade FAMs, articles on trade subjects (such as commission rates) and LogiMonde's Quick Presse e-blasts.
