American Express announces new travel benefits

American Express Canada has announced changes to its platinum card portfolio, with expanded travel and everyday benefits.

New travel benefits for platinum and business platinum card holders include unlimited access to over 1,300 airport lounges across 150 countries through the Global Lounge Collection, a $200 annual travel credit, a $100 Nexus credit every four years for application or renewal fees, as well as elite tier status with Marriott and Hilton hotels.
