ACTA opens 2027 membership season with $79 early-bird offer

The Association of Canadian Travel Agencies and Travel Advisors (ACTA) has launched its 2027 membership season with early-bird pricing for independent travel advisors through Sept. 30.

Independent advisors can join or renew their 2027 ACTA membership for $79, plus applicable taxes, during the promotion, which runs from Sept. 1 to 30, 2026. 

Memberships can be purchased online or in person at an upcoming ACTA Summit.

Beginning Oct. 1, the 2027 membership fee will be $99, plus applicable taxes, for advisors affiliated with an ACTA member host agency and $135, plus applicable taxes, for those who are not.

50th anniversary plans

ACTA will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2027, marking five decades of advocacy and support for Canada’s travel agencies and travel advisors.

Plans for the anniversary year include special events, member recognition initiatives and opportunities for members to connect and learn.

Member prize draws

Travel agencies and independent travel advisors who join or renew their ACTA membership beginning Sept. 1, 2026, will automatically be entered into member prize draws.

The Oct. 31 draw will include two Porter Airlines round-trip vouchers valid for travel to any Porter destination and a three-night stay for two guests at Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya in Mexico.

The Dec. 4 draw will offer two Air Canada round-trip economy class tickets for system-wide travel.

New members can join ACTA online.
