Sunwing to begin direct flights between Ottawa and St. Maarten

Just in time for winter, Sunwing will now offer a new direct, non-stop weekly flight service from Ottawa to St. Maarten beginning Dec. 15.

St. Maarten boasts over 50 unique dive sites, while activities above the water include windsurfing along the north-eastern coastline, sea kayaking through tranquil inlets and deep sea fishing.  On land, travellers can hike to old stone forts, go mountain biking at Paradise Peak or simply relax on one of the island’s celebrated beaches.

New for this winter, the five-star Sonesta Ocean Point Resort will offer an elegant addition to the island’s collection of adult-oriented accommodation.
