Air Canada, ACPA reach new agreement

Air Canada has announced that it has reached a new agreement with the Air Canada Pilots Association (ACPA), subject to ratification, on collective agreement terms for 10 years.

The agreement is subject to ratification by the Association's membership comprising the airline's approximately 3,000 pilots as well as to certain openers and benchmarks over the 10-year period.

Details of the agreement, reached before the expiration in April 2016 of the current collective agreement, will not be released pending ratification by the Association and approval by the Air Canada Board of Directors.
