There’s still time to qualify for Antigua & Barbuda’s Black Pineapple Awards
Travel advisors still have time to qualify for the Black Pineapple Awards – Antigua and Barbuda’s second-annual travel trade recognition event.
Canadian travel professionals are encouraged to register all their Antigua and Barbuda bookings made between Oct 1, 2024, and Sept. 30, 2025, for the chance to be honoured at the awards celebration taking place in Antigua from Dec. 3–7, 2025.
The event is named after the iconic Antigua black pineapple, a symbol of hospitality and excellence.
It was created to celebrate the invaluable role of travel advisors in growing Antigua and Barbuda’s presence in the Canadian market.
Top winners will be flown to the islands of Antigua and Barbuda for an unforgettable awards experience filled with cultural discovery, luxury hospitality, and island adventures.
How to Participate:
- Register all Antigua and Barbuda bookings made between October 1, 2024 – September 30, 2025 on the Antigua and Barbuda Travel Agent website at www.AntiguaBarbudaTA.com
- Each registered booking is an entry into the awards program.
- Travel advisors with the highest sales, most room nights, and most individual bookings will be recognized.
“Canadian travel advisors are instrumental in sharing the beauty and diversity of Antigua and Barbuda with travellers,” said Tameka Wharton, director of tourism Canada, in a press release. “The Black Pineapple Awards not only recognizes top sellers but also rewards the creativity and passion that Canadian agents bring to promoting our destination.”
The five-day celebration will include networking events, an awards gala, and island experiences.
Canadian travel advisors are encouraged to begin registering their bookings today to maximize their entries before the Sept. 30 deadline.
Full details on how to register and participate will be available through the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority’s Canadian office and official trade channels.
