Los Cabos launches new campaign in Canada

The Los Cabos Tourism Board has introduced a new brand campaign, “Where the Land Ends, Your Story Begins,” aimed at Canadian travellers, the destination’s second-largest international market.

The campaign highlights Los Cabos’ geography at the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula, where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez. 

According to the board, the initiative is designed to showcase the area’s landscapes and range of activities for visitors.

“The new campaign is an invitation to experience Los Cabos on a deeply personal level,” said Rodrigo Esponda, managing director of the Los Cabos Tourism Board. 

“We want to show first-time visitors from Canada that Los Cabos is more than just a beautiful getaway, it's a place that leaves a lasting mark. Here, dramatic landscapes and elevated experiences come together to spark meaningful moments that travellers carry with them long after they leave.”

Hotel and lifestyle openings

Several new properties and venues are set to open this fall:

• Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal will complete the final phase of its renovation by October 1, 2025. All 112 rooms, suites, casitas, and villas have been updated with design elements sourced from across Mexico.
• Park Hyatt Los Cabos at Cabo del Sol opens in October 2025, marking the brand’s debut in Mexico. The resort will include 160 rooms, three villas, multiple restaurants, a spa, and a beach club.
• Ánima Village launches October 1 as a mixed-use lifestyle destination with more than 80 retail, dining, and wellness concepts in Cabo del Sol.
• Kadún, a 110-room boutique hotel, opens this fall near El Médano Beach and the Cabo San Lucas Marina, with a rooftop pool, spa, restaurant, café, and family-friendly amenities

Upcoming events

Two major events headline the fall calendar in Los Cabos:

• Bisbee’s Black & Blue Fishing Tournament runs October 13–18, 2025, with anglers competing for multi-million-dollar prizes.
• PGA TOUR World Wide Technology Championship takes place November 3–9, 2025, bringing top golfers to Los Cabos for competition on an oceanfront course.
