One-stop shop for training
These three Orlando events offered a one-stop-shop training on all that Orlando has to offer, from what’s new in its theme parks and new accommodation options, to the destination’s diverse shopping options, outdoor adventures and thriving dining scene. The fun-filled, interactive sessions not only armed agents with the tools to better sell Orlando, but also gave agents the opportunity to win a number of Orlando prize packages.
Orlando tourism partners for this mission included SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, Universal Orlando Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, Vistana Signature Experiences, Rosen Hotels and Resorts, Balmoral Resort Florida and Mears Transportation Group. The events also included a trade show component encouraging one-on-one interaction with Visit Orlando partners along with WestJet Vacations, Air Canada Vacations, TravelBrands, Transat Vacations, Sunwing Vacations and Avis/Budget Rent-a-Car.
As an extension of the mission, Visit Orlando and its partners also conducted trainings in Toronto at TravelBrands, Sunwing and CAA and visited Transat Holidays in Montreal.
