Vancouver agency wins Transat's Confetti grand prize

Transat has named the Skyland Travel Inc./Escapes.ca agency in Vancouver as the winner of the Confetti program's $25,000 grand prize.

The winner was chosen by random draw from among the 46 agencies that qualified across Canada throughout the year.

Tomoko Shimada, chairperson of Skyland Travel Inc., and Chris and Sean Rollinson, co-presidents of Escapes.ca, accepted the cheque for $25,000 from Transat reps alongside their entire team.

This event wraps up Transat's Confetti program. Since November 2014, a different themed Confetti sales challenge was launched each month, individually rewarding travel agents for their Transat product sales. Monthly prizes were also given to the winning agencies, in addition to their entry in the $25,000 grand prize draw.
