TravelBrands invites industry to join SickKids fundraising walk

TravelBrands is inviting travel advisors to participate in its annual SickKids Walk Fundraiser on Tuesday, Aug. 25.

The event will take place simultaneously at the company’s Toronto and Montreal offices in support of SickKids Foundation.

Participants will walk from 11 a.m. to noon, followed by lunch and an opportunity to connect with other members of the Canadian travel industry.

“Giving back has always been an important part of who we are, and this walk is an opportunity to bring our travel community together around a cause that means so much to us,” said Nathalie Tanious, president & CEO of H.I.S. Canada Travel Inc., parent company of travelbrands. 

“We see firsthand what can happen when our industry comes together with a shared purpose, and we hope travel advisors and members of the trade media will join us on August 25. Every person who walks alongside us helps strengthen our collective support for the extraordinary work SickKids does for children and families every day.”

TravelBrands and its parent company, H.I.S. Canada Travel Inc., have raised more than $3 million for SickKids through fundraising initiatives over the years.

Travel advisors can join employees at either office. 

Participants are asked to raise a minimum of $25 for SickKids Foundation.
