TravelBrands is celebrating International Women’s Day 2024, embracing this year’s theme, “Inspire Inclusion,” while reaffirming its commitment to nurturing a culture of diversity, equality, and inclusion within the Canadian travel industry. 

Recognizing the invaluable contributions of women in shaping both our world and the travel landscape, TravelBrands said it commemorates International Women's Day with a reflection on the strides made and the continued journey toward gender equality. 

The company says it remains resolute in its commitment to effecting positive change and fostering an inclusive future for all. 

Some of the company’s key initiatives include: 

  • Implementation of an equal pay strategy: Regular audits are conducted to ensure compensation is fair and transparent, regardless of gender. 
  • Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belongingness sessions: These are provided for all staff and presented by the company’s diverse team members. 
  • Gender-neutral recruitment processes: Ensuring that all job descriptions and hiring criteria are free from gender bias.
