Korea offers tourists free smartphone rentals

The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) has collaborated with Samsung and SK Telecom to launch the Enjoy Mobile Korea For Free promotion.

Enjoy Mobile Korea offers international visitors to Korea a free smartphone rental. Each week 250 participants will be selected between March 15 to Dec. 31, 2016, 

Selected winners will be offered a free rental of the latest smartphone with free data, voice calls, and text messages for up to five days.

In addition, KTO’s travel and tourism mobile app (VisitKorea) is also installed to make travelling in Korea more convenient for tourists. Users can access information such as themed travel, local map, discount coupons and more.
