Jamaica welcomes more than 200 to tourism seminar

More than 200 delegates participated in Jamaica's 2014 Tourism Outlook Seminar (TOS), held at the Montego Bay Convention Center from Nov. 20-21
The seminar, now in its sixth year, featured the theme of ‘Tourism: Enhancing Social and Economic Impact’ for 2014. Tourism is one of the main economic drivers in the Caribbean and the Tourism Outlook Seminar brings together Jamaican and regional tourism policymakers and stakeholders to share ideas, examine best practices and discuss strategies for advancing Caribbean tourism.
The seminar is organized by the Ministry of Tourism & Entertainment and the Jamaica Tourist Board in conjunction with the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), and is funded by the Tourism Enhancement Fund.
