Indus Travels honoured by South African Tourism

Indus Travels was recently honoured in the annual South African Tourism Ubuntu Awards, receiving the award for Outstanding Achievement in Strategic Partnerships.
The sixth annual ceremony, held last month at New York City's Museum of Natural History, recognized South African Tourism's trade partners in business and leisure travel.
Praveen Syal, managing director of Indus Travels, told PAX that Indus Travels received the award “because of our big group numbers to South Africa and unique marketing ideas to promote South Africa as a tourist destination.
"It is rewarding to be honoured by South African Tourism with an award for selling a destination that we are so passionate about,” Syal said in his acceptance speech.
The event was hosted by Thulani Nzima, CEO of South African Tourism, with Wendy Perrin as Master of Ceremonies. The Hon. Derek Hanekom, South Africa's Minister of Tourism, delivered the keynote address to distinguished guests including Ambassador Mninwa Mahlangu South Africa's Ambassador to the United States, while South African-born stand up comedian Trevor Noah entertained guests.
