Flair Airlines has officially launched “Flair Vacations," a new vacation packages platform that allows customers to book flights and hotels together in one seamless booking experience.
“Customers asked for fewer steps and better value when they book their trips and we delivered” said Lucas Oordt-Bosman, director of payments and digital strategy at Flair, in a press release.
“Flair Vacations does exactly that by bringing flights and hotels together in one simple experience. It’s a clear extension of our Flair FWD focus on making travel easier, more reliable, and more affordable for Canadians.”
Flair Vacations, which was announced at the airline’s “Flair FWD” launch in Toronto last fall, is delivered through a partnership with HBX Group (parent company of Bedsonline), a B2B travel technology marketplace, and Onlinetravel.
The white-label platform marks the first time Flair has offered vacation packages directly to customers and the first time it has introduced fully dynamic packaging.

By combining Flair’s inclusive seat pricing with HBX Group’s package hotel net rates, Flair Vacations promises competitive pricing while simplifying the booking process.
Packages include options to add checked baggage, seat selection, activities, and ground transportation, and all bookings are eligible for Flair’s On-Time Guarantee (OTG). With Flair’s On-Time Guarantee, costumers receive a $60 CAD e-voucher if an eligible flight is delayed for any reason by more than 60 minutes from the arrival time as stated on your itinerary.
At launch, Flair Vacations will offer packages to 12 destinations, with plans to expand to Canadian destinations in the near future.
Initial destinations include:
- Fort Lauderdale, FL (FLL)
- Las Vegas, NV (LAS)
- Los Angeles, CA (LAX)
- Orlando, FL (MCO)
- San Francisco, CA (SFO)
- Cancún, Mexico (CUN)
- Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (PVR)
- Guadalajara, Mexico (GDL)
- Mexico City, Mexico (MEX)
- Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (PUJ)
- Montego Bay, Jamaica (MBJ)
- Kingston, Jamaica (KIN)
The Flair Vacations website is also available in English, French, and Spanish.
“This new service will be a huge benefit to travellers in Canada and is a testament to the strength of the travel technology ecosystem that we’ve nurtured,” said Mark Antipof, chief growth officer at HBX Group. “We are delighted to bolster our portfolio of dynamic packaging via our strategic partnerships and demonstrate our commitment to improving booking efficiency and customer satisfaction."
For travel advisors
As previously reported, Flair now has a travel agency portal, which went live in October, as part of a newly-launched B2B strategy.
The platform offers travel advisors some flexibility when booking Flair flights. Agents can, for example, change a client’s name up to 48 hours before take-off and modify a reservation up to seven days from the departure dat
In a statement to PAX, the airline said Flair Vacations will be a consumer product to start, but looks forward to adding it to their agent portfolio next year.
