Agents can earn on this grizzly bear expedition out of Vancouver
Aspire Canada Tours will offer a same-day return grizzly bear viewing tour from Vancouver to the Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary in northern British Columbia on July 4.
The one-day experience includes private charter travel from Vancouver to Prince Rupert, followed by a guided marine wildlife expedition through the sanctuary, which is located near the edge of the Great Bear Rainforest.
Guests will depart Vancouver International Airport in the morning and fly to Prince Rupert Airport.
From there, they will transfer to a 72-foot catamaran for a seven-hour guided wildlife cruise through Chatham Sound and into the Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary.
“This tour reflects exactly what Aspire Canada Tours was built to do, which is make exceptional Canadian travel experiences more accessible without compromising the quality of the experience,” said Ross Brown, co-founder of Aspire Canada Tours.
“This one-day adventure allows guests to witness one of the country’s most remarkable places in a way that feels seamless, comfortable, and inherently memorable. To be able to leave Vancouver in the morning, spend the day in a grizzly bear habitat, and return to the city by evening is something very special.”
The July 4 excursion has been timed to coincide with a low tide cycle, when bears may be more likely to emerge to feed on clams and other shoreline marine life.
The marine portion of the tour is operated in partnership with Prince Rupert Adventure Tours.
Guests remain aboard the catamaran throughout the sanctuary experience, with onboard naturalist guides providing commentary and interpretation focused on marine wildlife, ecology, conservation and responsible bear viewing practices.
The experience also coincides with the FIFA World Cup period in Vancouver, giving visitors a non-match day option that returns to the city the same evening.
The tour includes round-trip private charter flights, transfers, breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as Aspire Canada Tours’ coordination, hosting and narration throughout the day.
The day begins with early morning check-in at Vancouver International Airport, followed by a 6:25 a.m. private charter jet departure to Prince Rupert, with breakfast served onboard.
Lunch is served during the marine expedition, while dinner is served onboard the evening charter flight back to Vancouver.
The tour is expected to return to Vancouver at approximately 7:00 p.m.
The introductory rate is CAD $1,470 per person, including GST, through June 15, 2026. The regular rate is CAD $1,575 per person, including GST. Groups of six or more booked under one reservation can save CAD $50 per person through the Great Bear Group Rate.
