Air Canada Vacations (ACV) is celebrating the contributions of its outgoing Travel Advisory Board (TAAB) while welcoming a new cohort of 13 travel advisors from across the country.

Over the past two years, outgoing TAAB members have played “an instrumental role in the company’s evolution,” helping drive enhancements across products, customer experience, and advisor support, the tour operator said Thursday (June 25).

This transition was marked during a two-day event held June 17 and 18 at Air Canada Vacations’ Toronto office, where departing members formally passed the baton to the incoming group, ensuring continuity and ongoing collaboration.

Advisors participated in a full day of updates, forward-looking discussions, and collaborative sessions, followed by a dinner celebration where current board members were recognized for their outstanding contributions.

As part of the experience, participants also visited Air Canada’s System Operations Control (SOC), gaining a deeper understanding of the operations that support Air Canada Vacations.

“Over the past two years, our Advisory Board members have brought forward invaluable perspectives that have directly influenced our evolution,” said Erminia Gallina, director of sales at Air Canada Vacations, in a press release. “We are incredibly grateful for their lasting impact.”

The newly-appointed 13-member Travel Advisory Board brings together a diverse group of professionals representing retail agencies, consortia, and independent networks nationwide.

Through this program, Air Canada Vacations fosters open dialogue and works closely with partners to support the evolving needs of the travel trade.

“We are excited to welcome this new group of forward-thinking advisors,” added Gallina. “Their perspectives will help us continue enhancing our products, services, and overall experience for our partners and their clients.”

Over the coming term, board members will collaborate closely with Air Canada Vacations teams, providing strategic input and helping shape future initiatives.

Air Canada Vacations says it remains committed to strong partnerships with travel advisors and ensuring their voice continues to play a central role in driving innovation and growth.
