Industry veteran Louise Gardiner is joining The Agency Solution, a new division of The Travel Agent Next Door as vice president.

Gardiner started her 40-year career in travel as a small agency vice president in the Kitchener Waterloo area. She was most recently a senior leader with Carlson Wagonlit Travel, responsible for setting and implementing CWT’s leisure strategy for the Associate Franchise Program in Canada. Louise brings years of experience in the Leisure travel industry and has a proven track record in running successful operations and building strong teams.
Gardiner also oversaw Carlson Wagonlit’s multi-branch network that spanned across Canada and is very aware of regional differences as they affect travel agencies.
“I have supported many small agencies over the years and I understand their needs,“ said Gardiner. “I believe we truly do have the best solution for the smaller agencies out there and I look forward to meeting with many of them in the coming months to show them what we can do for them.”
About The Agency Solution
The Agency Solution is the latest division of The Travel Agent Next Door. The division will ensure increased profitability and best in class commission levels to smaller agencies.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have someone of Louise’s calibre to head up The Agency Solution,” said Flemming Friisdahl, founder, The Travel Agent Next Door. “She has the depth of knowledge and understanding of the needs of smaller agencies that will be so important when she speaks to owners.”
Catering specifically to the needs of the smaller storefront agency, the Agency Solution will eliminate the cost of regulatory fees, E&O insurance, bank fees and merchant fees. It will also enable agencies to reduce the cost of accounting, payroll, telephones, toll free lines, GDS & technology.
Agencies can keep their own branding and identity and will receive customized marketing with a full online presence that includes a website, email and print marketing, as well as a complete social media platform.
