Insight Vacations & Luxury Gold announce new appointments

Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold have announced a series of staffing developments, with new hires and increased responsibilities for team members.

After joining the team in 2018, Paula Rizos has fully taken over all partnership accounts in British Columbia and Yukon as a business development manager.

An expert in the Western region with more than 25 years of travel and tourism experience, Rizos has developed loyal relationships with travel advisors in Western Canada through her past experience at Canadian Holidays, Transat Tours Canada and Discover Canada Tours.

Meanwhile, former Vancouver resident Matthew Stewart will head east after being hired as the new sales manager for the Greater Toronto Area and Northern Ontario.

Originally from Australia, Stewart joins the Insight and Luxury Gold team from Topdeck Travel, where he served in Topdeck’s Vancouver office as Western Canada Business Development Manager for five years before being promoted to sales manager for the Americas until June 2018. Stewart now joins the Insight and Luxury Gold family after having returned from Australia where he was for a few months, working at a 5-star eco-resort in Noosa.

Further, Claire Rottare has been appointed as National Tele-sales Manager, which is a brand new role at Insight and Luxury Gold focused on developing new business opportunities across the country.
