Bruno Muñoz is now a key account manager for Western Canada, Quebec, Northwest USA and Puerto Rico at Bedsonline, PAX has learned.

Muñoz joined Bedsonline, a specialized booking engine for travel advisors, as a sales executive in April of 2023. He began his new role on March 1 this year.

The role of key account manager was previously held by Ivan Mansanet, who is now a national sales manager for Canada at Railbookers.

In his new position, Muñoz is responsible for new account acquisitions and sales growth in his territory, which, in Canada, includes British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Quebec.

Before Bedsonline, Muñoz worked at Transat for five years – one year as a groups coordinator and four years as a BDM for British Columbia.

Originally from Cancun Mexico, Muñoz started his travel career at a local hotel chain in Cancun/Riviera Maya in 2011.

With experience in timeshares, motorhome rentals, group bookings and business development, Muñoz has more than 13 years of experience in the travel industry.

“After taking four years off the road, I’m beyond excited to reconnect in person with all travel professionals in my territory!” Muñoz told PAX.

Tommy Ryder, regional head of sales – retail North America at HBX Group, parent company for Bedsonline, took to LinkedIn on Monday (March 4) to congratulate Muñoz on his new position.

With his extensive knowledge and experience in the industry, we're confident that he will excel in his new role,” Ryder wrote. “Many agencies are eagerly looking forward to reconnecting with Bruno. Congratulations, Bruno, and we wish you all the best in this new chapter of your career.”
