Bill Bowers joins Palladium as Canadian sales director

Spanish hotel chain Palladium Hotel Group has appointed travel industry veteran Bill Bowers to director of sales, Canada, effective immediately.

Bowers will be responsible for “deepening the company’s relationships with Canadian travel agents and expanding the market,” Palladium said.

“I’m proud to join Palladium Hotel Group, a company that is consistently innovating to develop outstanding guest experiences,” said Bowers. “The company has built a phenomenal partnership with North American travel agents and tour operators, and I’m excited to expand on those relationships to cement our place in the Canadian market.”

A well-known figure in the Canadian travel industry, Bowers started his career in travel at tour operator Suntours & Sunflight, before becoming vice-president, Product at Carousel Holidays and then vice-president, Revenue Management at Sunquest Vacations. In 2000, Bowers moved from tour operating and contracting hotels to the hotel industry, joining Decameron All-Inclusive Hotels and Resorts, as director of sales – the Americas, where he grew their market and revenue significantly.
