VIDEO: “Extra special” TravelBrands golf classic tees off in support of SickKids
The rain may have poured, but so did the generosity.
TravelBrands’ 10th annual Charity Golf Classic teed off Thursday morning (Sept. 4) at Eagles Nest Golf Club in north Toronto under grey skies, but the occasion shone bright with a milestone: a decade of giving back to the SickKids Foundation.
Since its inception, the annual gathering has brought together industry partners, colleagues, and friends with one shared goal: to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families supported by SickKids.
Over the past 10 years, the event has raised more than $2.44 million, and this year, TravelBrands is aiming higher than ever with plans to raise its largest contribution to date.

With the support of the FDC Foundation, which is generously matching every dollar raised, the impact of each contribution will be doubled.
“This is more than a golf tournament – it’s a community coming together to make a real difference,” said Nathalie Tanious, president & CEO of H.I.S. Canada Travel Inc., parent company of TravelBrands. “We are deeply grateful to the partners who have been with us from the very beginning, as well as the new supporters who have joined along the way. Their generosity and commitment have made the past decade possible, and we’re excited to see how much more we can accomplish together in support of SickKids Foundation.”

The silent auction is now officially open, and everyone is welcome to participate, even if they’re not attending the tournament.
Incredible travel prizes and more are available, with every bid supporting SickKids Foundation. The auction will remain open until 8 p.m. EST on Thursday, September 4, 2025, giving everyone in the travel industry the chance to contribute to this important cause.
