Vancouver International Travel Expo returns
Scenes from VIT 2016

The Vancouver International Travel Expo returns to the Vancouver Convention Centre, Sept. 29 and 30, featuring more than 200 exhibitors including cruise and river cruise lines, more than 20 airlines, tour operators, hotels and resorts plus much more.

The show runs from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. The first two hours are open to travel agents exclusively but agents are welcome to attend at any time.

“This is a great educational opportunity for agents at all levels,” said show manager Steve Klein. “We have exhibitors coming from all over the world, some of whom have never exhibited in Canada before.”

The show is sponsored in part by ACTA and both ACTA and Global Affairs Canada will be giving special trade related seminars. The ACTA seminar begins at 2:30 so agents who attend will get early entry into the show.

A special travel agent-only draw for two Aeromexico tickets will be held and agents will automatically be included in all consumer prize draws as well. Consumer prizes include trips to Africa and India, cruises, cameras and more.

Pre-registration is required for free entry and a business card is required for the prize draw. Agents can register here.
