Tropical Storm Lidia heading for Los Cabos
Tropical Storm Lidia is on the move, and she's making her way towards Los Cabos, Mexico.
As Lidia intensifies, warnings of flash floods and mudslides have been issued.
The Baja California Peninsula will be hit the hardest, and a hurricane watch for Baja California Sur from Puerto Cortes to east of La Paz is now in effect. According to the Weather Channel, a tropical storm warning has been issued for Baja California Sur from San Andresito to Loreto and also for mainland Mexico from Bahia Tempehuaya to Guaymas.
Los Cabos will begin to see the presence of Tropical Storm Lidia from now through Friday, with strong winds and heavy rainfall on the way. Flash-floods can be extremely dangerous. Surfers and beach-goers are also advised to take caution, as high tides and rip currents are to be expected.
