TBO Holidays lands in Canada

B2B global travel portal TBO Holidays will be making its official debut in the Canadian marketplace, providing travel agents with easy access to over 350,000 hotels worldwide in real time.

Using its proprietary and innovative technology, TBO Holidays provides access to wholesale rates, dynamic rates and BAR rates for hotels in a single screen. Founded over 10 years ago as a B2B travel portal for Middle East and India, TBO now counts sales offices on all five continents and provides a cost-effective way for agents to access travel content from 50+ leading suppliers globally, along with its own directly contracted content.

“Other companies offer their agents benefits too, but I feel that TBO Holidays has an advantage for three reasons: one, the return on investment; two, they [agents] don’t pay any fees to access the content, and three, we offer net rates,” TBO Holidays’ Gigi Estragadinho, country manager – Canada, told PAX, adding that TBO Holidays will be taking part in the upcoming Travel Marketplace East in Toronto, from May 22-23.

Agents can quote rates in currency of their choice, manage online trip quotes, and monitor back-office activity. As extra peace of mind for agents, TBO reconfirms each hotel booking and provides a hotel confirmation number before check-in, thus ensuring hassle free check in for travellers.

A comprehensive mobile app, available on both iOS and Android, allows agents to make and access bookings while away from the office. The ‘Roamer’ app is also available for agents’ clients, allowing them to access all their bookings while remaining in touch with the agent. Some of TBO Holidays’ offering include:
