Serge Abel-Normandin joins the PAX team

The PAX Global Media team is very proud to announce that Serge Abel-Normandin, a well-known figure in the Quebec travel industry, will now act as a contributor to the largest business publication for professionals here in Canada.

With more than 20 years of experience analyzing popular industry issues and news, Serge previously worked as editor-in-chief at Tourisme Plus. It's precisely this fine understanding of the industry, as well as his expertise that will make him a strong addition to the PAX team.

"I've been working in the travel and tourism industry for more than twenty years; an industry in constant motion, which impresses me the most by the quality of its people, its ability to adapt to change, and its resilience," said Abel-Normandin. "For me, it is a privilege to be able to continue to observe the evolution of this fascinating industry as a member of the PAX editorial team, a media whose quality and professionalism I have enjoyed for many years."

A passion for travel

Abel-Normandin holds of a bachelor's degree in communication, with a focus on journalism, obtained from Laval University.

Abel-Normandin discovered a passion for travel during a seven-month stay in Europe in his early twenties, during which he explored a dozen countries. He then worked in the cultural and public relations field in the Quebec City area before moving to Montreal in the 1990s, when he joined the ranks of Bulletin Voyages. He then started his career at Tourism Plus in 1998.
