Qatar Airways celebrates five years of servicing Montreal

Qatar Airways is celebrating the fifth anniversary of its services to Montreal today (June 29), and to mark the milestone, the airline has unveiled special fares for Canadian travellers to Dubai, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Bombay and Delhi.

In addition, the airline is also launching a Facebook contest giving Canadians the chance to win a pair of tickets to the destination of their choice with departure from Montreal.

The highly successful route has been popular with Canadians travelling long haul, connecting through the airline’s award-winning hub, Hamad International Airport and connecting onwards to destinations such as Singapore, Hanoi, Bangkok, Delhi, Doha, Dubai among many others.

Qatar Airways has one of the shortest connection times for Canadian travellers to the Far East. The Montreal – Doha journey is 12 hours and with a guaranteed minimum connection time of 45 minutes – the lowest in the industry.

The airline operates thrice-weekly flights to Montreal non-stop from its hub in Doha, Qatar, on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
