Mrs Linda Song, Executive Director of Plaza Premium Group (the Group) (2nd from left), Mr. SHIAU Deng-ke, President & CEO, Taoyuan Airport (3rd from left), Mr. Song Hoi-see, Founder and CEO of the Group (middle), and Mr. CHEN Jung-chin, Director of Airport Tourist Service Centre, Tourism Bureau, R.O.C. (3rd from right) officiated the grand opening ceremony of Plaza Premium Lounge in Taipei together with other honourable guests.

Plaza Premium Lounge debuted in Taipei this week, welcoming all travellers regardless of their airline or class of travel.

“Plaza Premium Lounge in Taipei is the first project of our Group in Taiwan,” Mr. Song Hoi-see, founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Group, said at the grand opening ceremony July 26, as published in a release.

“We have invested a lot in Taipei by introducing four cutting-edge Plaza Premium Lounges to facilitate travellers departing from, transiting through and arriving at Taipei. We aim at strengthening the affinity of Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (Taoyuan Airport) to travellers and making it a preferred transit hub in East Asia.”

Located at the Departures in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of Taoyuan Airport, the new Plaza Premium Lounges span over 2,500 square metres with seating of about 600. The company also sponsored two Travellers Experience Zones in both terminals to let travellers explore and experience various lounge facilities.

Plaza Premium Lounge’s designer selected “trees and timber” as the theme of the lounge, combining contemporary city element with a touch of local flavour.

Plaza Premium Lounge adheres to its brand ethos of enhancing airport experience by tailoring services and facilities for travellers. User-friendly facilities include the brand’s signature honeycomb seating, hot showers, private resting suites, VIP rooms, meeting room, plenty of electrical outlets, international TV channels, complimentary Wi-Fi, newspapers and magazines.

The new lounges also offer freshly-made international cuisines at its live-cooking station to provide theatrical and interactive dining experience.

The basic lounge use package of Plaza Premium Lounge in either Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 starts at NT $1,300 ($53 CAN) for two hours.
