PAX journalist nominated for award

Here at PAXnews we pride ourselves on the work we do, so when one of our own gets recognized for it, you can bet we’ll share it far and wide! As it happens, we are delighted to announce that Britney Hope, a long-time PAX journalist, has been nominated for a Barbados Tourism Media award in the ‘So You Know Your Stuff’ category, which recognizes the best feature article in a trade publication.

Created by Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. (BTMI), the inaugural Barbados Tourism Media Awards honours members of the media whose work “captures the essence of Barbados.” The official awards presentation will take place on Sept. 15 at the Fairmont Royal Pavilion, and is being held in conjunction with the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s (CTO) State of the Industry Conference (SOTIC), running this week from Sept. 12-17.
