LogiMonde media and PAX: still #1 across Canada

LogiMonde media and PAX: still #1 across Canada

The nationally-recognized accounting firm Deloitte has released the audit report of LogiMonde media Inc.’s global database, and the results are clear: a total of 108,339 people are subscribed to all print and digital products (French and English) according to the Jan. 15, 2018 report, making LogiMonde media the number one specialized media of the Canadian travel industry.

The accounting firm once again proceeded to audit the distribution lists of all print and digital products owned by LogiMonde media Inc., ensuring the veracity of the information passed on to clients.

LogiMonde media still is, to this day, the only media in the travel industry to instruct Deloitte to audit its distribution lists.

Uguette Chiasson, president, LogiMonde media

25 years of growth and authenticity

Ever since its inception in 1992, LogiMonde media has continually strived to be the go-to resource for travel industry professionals across Canada. We have proven, ever since our humble beginnings 25 years ago, that we are an adaptable and ever-evolving company. The numerous innovations we’ve unveiled over the years are tangible proof that we are not only the most forward-thinking media in the industry, but a veritable leader from coast to coast.

“We are proud to confirm an increase in our number of subscribers year after year. This unquestionably shows that all members of our team work tirelessly in order to stay relevant for the professionals of the travel industry,” said Uguette Chiasson, president, LogiMonde media.

“Our initial strengths, which have allowed us to remain successful over the past 25 years, have not changed: to offer the best customer service, to publish high-quality content in our magazines, and to focus on improving our products on a daily basis.

“In my view, our competition is more with ourselves than with others. Self-awareness and self-analysis allowed us to implement consequential strategies, and to adapt. First and foremost, we listen to our readers and to our clients; we try to identify their needs, and we welcome innovation in order to continue to be leaders.

“Firstly, this audit proves that we perform remarkably well, and secondly, that our subscriber lists are not mathematical fiction. This is important for our clients in charge of media and advertising,” Chiasson added.

Audit: Methodology and Transparency

Deloitte S.E.N.C.R.L./s.r.l. attests that the report released on Jan. 15, 2018 was conducted in compliance with norms established by CPA Canada. These norms stipulate that the audit must be planned and executed in such a way that will reasonably confirm the distribution list is free of significant discrepancies. The audit surveys probing elements regarding the number of subscribers and other information transmitted to the accounting firm. A copy of the database was also transmitted to the firm for software specialists to verify the validity of email addresses as well as to conduct a phone and email survey confirming that subscribers are indeed professionals of the travel industry.

The accounting firm can now assert that the state of LogiMonde media’s distribution list is, for all intents and purposes, an authentic reflection of its subscribers including, and e-magazines, PAX magazine digital versions in both French and English, distribution service in both French and English, as well as the printed versions of PAX magazine in both French and English as of Dec. 15, 2017.
