After a five-year hiatus, the Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival returns to Victoria Harbour this fall.

The four-day festival also starts a month-long series of citywide nightlife events throughout November.

Taking place Oct. 26-29, this year’s festival will host nearly 300 booths showcasing global food and wine offerings, as well as a number of interactive workshops for food lovers.

Eligible overseas visitors will also receive a complimentary cocktail on arrival.

Major Country Pavilions will showcase wine makers from 36 countries, with the spotlight on classic vintages from France and Italy, and emerging wine regions in Thailand, Moldova and Finland.

A dedicated display for Chinese wine discovery will also be introduced this year, featuring wine merchants like Xige Estate and Chateau Mihope from Ningxia, Yunnan Red Wine and Spirits, and Shandong-based Mystic Island Winery.

Dishes at the festival will range from flavour-filled street food and nostalgic local favourites to refined hotel delicacies by vendors like the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong.

Several hands-on workshops will be on offer for visitors of all ages, including Plant to Plate, Origin of the Coffee Bean and The Story of Rice

Cooking demonstrations and workshops will be led by celebrity chef He Jiansheng from Shunde, Guangdong, and award-winning Taiwanese baker Wu Pao-chun.

Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival 2023 will be a launching pad for a month of culinary celebrations around Hong Kong.

Throughout November, Taste Around Town will highlight over 300 of Hong Kong's destinations to eat and drink, with a month-long programme of exclusive discounts and limited-time menus.
