4 continents, 13 countries: Railbookers' "around the world" luxury train tour
Railbookers has announced a unique “Around the World by Luxury Train” itinerary.
This first-of-its-kind trip in 2024 will take travellers across the globe in first-class fashion, enjoying the finest accommodations, dining, and sightseeing onboard the world’s most iconic luxury trains.
For those looking to enjoy a portion of the trip, Railbookers offers several shorter itineraries built around each of the luxury trains and destinations featured in the 80-day voyage.
Adding onto the excitement surrounding Railbookers’ 2019 “Around the World by Rail” vacation, this journey features trips aboard world-renowned luxury rail like Rovos Rail in South Africa, the Maharajas’ Express through India, Singapore’s Eastern & Oriental Express, Canada’s Rocky Mountaineer, and classic European journeys including the Golden Eagle Danube Express, Belmond Royal Scotsman, and the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express.
“The demand for luxury rail from our customers continues to grow, and in response, we’ve created the ultimate bucket-list trip,” said President and CEO Frank Marini in a press release. “As we’ve seen a trend to combine itineraries to include multiple luxury trains, we’ve tailor-made this itinerary along with smaller, customisable itineraries featuring these iconic trains as a highlight of our industry-leading luxury rail collection. Best of all, once the train ride is through, Railbookers takes care of hotel, sightseeing, transfers and more at the destination for a complete one-call solution. We’re thrilled to give our travel advisors and guests an opportunity to see the world right outside their window in total luxury.”
In between train journeys, Railbookers’ guests will be treated to luxurious hotel accommodations in many of the world’s finest cities.
The trip begins in Vancouver and continues in European capitals and charming cities like Budapest, Edinburgh, Florence, London, Paris, Rome, and Venice.
Air connections will allow travellers to see Delhi, Mumbai and Istanbul in Asia, as well as Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa.
The journey wraps up in Southeast Asia, exploring Singapore and Malaysia.
Travellers will make their own international air travel arrangements, while the trip is inclusive of private ground transfers at destinations as well as all sightseeing and activities listed in the itinerary.
