Florida's Brightline rail system increases commissionable fares to 20%
This week, Florida's Brightline rail system, which had introduced 10 per cent commissionable fares for all train rides in early November, is increasing that commission rate to 20 per cent on all ticket reservations made now through Feb. 29, 2024, giving travel advisors an opportunity to earn more.
It applies to train travel through June 30, 2024, the company noted in a press update on Tuesday (Nov. 28).
Qualified Canadian advisors can book clients’ travel on Brightline between Orlando and South Florida (Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach) with access to the lowest published fares and earn commissions.

“Agents can connect their clients to and from the ‘Theme Park Capital of the World’ to South Florida’s iconic resorts and even the ‘Cruise Capital of the World," stated Johanna Rojas, SVP partnerships and sales for Brightline, earlier this month.
As well, Brightline’s Travel Professional Program supports the popular “From Station to Vacation” cruise offer, which connects cruisers to Florida’s top cruise ports in style.
When reserving a PREMIUM ticket, a complimentary Brightline+ ride is included so the vacation can begin at the door, by getting picked up from home or hotel, and to the cruise port all in one ticket.

The PREMIUM ticket also includes access to exclusive station lounges, priority boarding, extra space, as well as complimentary drinks and snacks along the way.
Last month, Brightline increased its service to meet the demands of its recent Orlando expansion, offering 15 departures in each direction between Orlando and South Florida.
As well, the intercity rail system recently launched a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a new station planned for the Treasure Coast in the Sunshine State.
