Britney Hope wins Barbados Tourism Media award

As announced earlier this week, PAXnews journalist Britney Hope was nominated in the ‘So You Know Your Stuff’ category of the inaugural Barbados Tourism Media Awards.

There were 12 categories in all with more than 50 entries total, and the winners were announced at a formal dinner held last night at the Fairmont Royal Pavilion in Barbados… and we are delighted to report that Britney took home the top prize in her category!

"When I first came to Barbados last year, I was bowled over by the stunning beauty of the island, the incredible food (and rum), and the energy of the people who worked so hard to make our stay memorable,” said Britney in her acceptance speech. “So naturally, when I was made a finalist for the Barbados Tourism Media Awards, I was mostly just excited that I would get to go back!
