Hard Rock's one and only casino
The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana is the hotel chain's only property that boasts a casino. It's also the only Hard Rock in the Dominican Republic and among the brand's four all-inclusive properties in the Caribbean (Cancun, Riviera Maya and Vallarta).
The casino has more than 45,000 square feet of space, with dozens of tables to play blackjack, baccarat, roulette, craps or slot machines.
It is the third largest casino in the Caribbean after Baha Mar and Atlantis, both in the Bahamas.
Private luxury
Big players who come with more than $100,000 to gamble have access to the casino's private lounge.
"We have several private rooms," said Bruce Harris, director of casino operations. "Players can come with their entourage and their family. We take care of everything. They want a bar, we install a bar. They want a DJ, we install a DJ. They want food, a private chef takes care of it. In thirty minutes, we can face any type of request."
Players who have a history of good gaming with the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana can be offered private jet services to the hotel. They then reside in one of the presidential suites or in one of the four villas of the property. These four villas, located on the fourth floor of the buildings facing the sea, are huge luxury showcases, with four bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a huge terrace with spa and pool.
The "High Rollers" enjoy the concierge service that works exclusively for wealthy customers of the casino, as well as a golf cart, to move more easily in the huge complex of 1,775 rooms.
"For big casino players, playing in the Dominican Republic is relaxing," Harris said. "They play while their families enjoy the hotel, beach, restaurants, spa or excursion."
Get to know the hotel
The Rock Spa, located on the ground floor of the lobby, has a total of 56 massage cabins, eight for couples and two for VIP guests. All spa guests can enjoy a hydrotherapy circuit combining hot and cold water baths, dry and wet saunas and exfoliation room.
With 13 swimming pools all over the property and a beautiful beach, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana is the perfect blend of party and relaxation.
PAX was invited by AIC Hotel Group for this property tour.
