Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana opens in Dominican Republic

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has opened Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana, marking the adults-only, all-inclusive brand’s debut in the Dominican Republic.

Located on the beach in Cabeza de Toro, the resort has 467 guestrooms and suites, flexible dining options, wellness programming and experiences inspired by Dominican culture.

Rooms, dining and resort activities

Guestrooms and suites feature natural textures, neutral tones and locally inspired accents.

The resort’s programming is organized around three themes: flow, which covers movement and wellness; discovery, focused on cultural activities and local connections; and presence, which includes mindfulness, relaxation and sensory experiences.

Dining options include five à la carte restaurants, an international food hall, a bar and grill and Zenda Wellness Café.

The property also has seven bars and lounges, as well as a hidden speakeasy.

Resort programming includes paddleboard yoga, coffee and wellness sessions with live DJs, creative workshops, stargazing, live music, sunset gatherings and Dominican-inspired cultural activities.

The Paint Your Way In workshop concludes with access to the resort’s speakeasy, while the Dominican Art Mural highlights the region’s music, food and artistic traditions. 

Other activities include the Local Tuk Tuk Moment, a Dominican-inspired social gathering and photo opportunity.

Wellness at Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana

Zenda Spa offers treatments inspired by Dominican botanicals and traditions, including the Dominican Ritual Collection, which draws on cacao and tropical fruits. 

Additional wellness facilities include indoor and outdoor fitness spaces, a padel court, pickleball courts and functional training areas. 

Yoga, mindfulness activities and recovery-focused experiences are also available.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana joins Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection portfolio, which includes more than 150 resorts and nearly 58,000 rooms across Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe.

Hyatt is also planning two additional Inclusive Collection openings in the Dominican Republic: Secrets Macao Beach Punta Cana in 2026 and Hyatt Ziva Punta Cana in 2029.
