Hyatt Regency Lusaka The Pamodzi. (Hyatt)

Hyatt has signed a management deal with ASB Hotel Properties and Albwardy Investments (Pamodzi Hotels PLC) to introduce the Hyatt Regency brand to Lusaka, Zambia, as Hyatt Regency Lusaka The Pamodzi.

Currently operating as The Pamodzi Hotel, the property will undergo extensive renovations while remaining open, with plans to reopen under the Hyatt Regency brand in 2026.

This five-star hotel will mark Hyatt Regency’s debut in Zambia, expanding Hyatt’s global portfolio and offering World of Hyatt members and guests new opportunities to earn and redeem points, as well as accrue tier-qualifying night credits.

Situated in the heart of Lusaka, Hyatt Regency Lusaka The Pamodzi will feature 170 guestrooms and suites, blending contemporary décor with thoughtful amenities to deliver a premium guest experience.

The hotel will also offer versatile meeting and event spaces, suitable for large conferences or more intimate gatherings. Its central location provides easy access to the city’s business district and key attractions, including the Lusaka National Museum, which showcases Zambia’s rich history, culture, and art.

For guests seeking wildlife adventures, the property is just a 30-minute drive from Lusaka National Park and the Elephant Orphanage Project (Game Rangers International).
