Grand Velas Riviera Maya opens spa for children ages 5-12

Grand Velas Riviera Maya has opened Jungle Kids Spa, a salon experience designed for children ages 5-12. 

The space features a Mayan jungle theme inspired by Pancho, the resort's monkey mascot.

The indoor space combines ambient music with murals and decorative elements in greens and blues reflecting the Yucatan Peninsula. 

The salon offers manicure and pedicure stations, Shiatsu massage chairs, facial treatment areas, and hair styling zones.

The Wellness Spa Kids Menu includes massages such as the Sweet Dreams Massage (30 min/$105 USD or 60 min/$193 USD) for head, neck, and back, and the Chill Out Foot Massage (30 min/$105 USD or 60 min/$193 USD) featuring pressure point therapy and scented foot scrubs.

Facial treatments cater to different age groups and skin needs, with options including the Purely Degunked Facial (45 min/$149 USD or 60 min/$193 USD) for deep cleansing and the Hydration Cascade (45 min/$149 USD or 60 min/$193 USD) for moisture-boosting care.

Berry Good Mani & Pedi services range from 30-minute Sparkle treatments for younger children ($105 USD) to 45-minute sessions for older kids ($149 USD), each featuring nail shaping, scrubs, polish application, and decorative sticker accents.

Hair styling services include Twinkle Braids (30 min/$105 USD) adorned with glitter and ribbons, Sparkle Updos (45 min/$149 USD), and the Fairy Dust Wash & Style (60 min/$193 USD), which uses scented products to cleanse and nourish hair.

The spa also offers colorful drinks and healthy snacks including cupcakes and nutritious options.

For group celebrations, Jungle Kids Spa offers SPARTY packages that combine multiple services. 

The SPARTY 1 package includes a hand and foot massage with facial cleanse ($193 USD), while the SPARTY 2 provides a customized facial and nail polish application ($268 USD).

Jungle Kids Spa treatments feature FarmHouse Fresh organic and natural bath, body, and skincare products. 

Each guest receives a FarmHouse Fresh product kit to use during their treatment and take home, along with a guide for continuing their wellness routine. 

Children can sign on to the FarmHouse Fresh website to discover the specific animal their purchase helps save.
