Blue Diamond Resorts has announced a complimentary roundtrip airport-to-hotel offer – except it’s not available to guests who book their vacation through a travel advisor.

According to a press release issued by the hotel management company, the free transfer offer, powered by NexusTours, guarantees a “stress-free journey” for guests who choose to book directly through Blue Diamond’s brand websites.

"We are committed to offering more and more tailored experiences to our guests, and including transfers as part of our all-inclusive package is just one of the many benefits travelers can enjoy," said Alejandro Rodriguez del Peon, director of marketing and PR for Blue Diamond Resorts, in a statement.

"Navigating a foreign country can be daunting, but this new addition to our offerings represents another step in redefining the concept of 'all-inclusive.' Our ongoing goal is to consistently enhance the guest experience, both now and in the future.”

The offer notes that guests who book stays of three to four nights, directly online, are eligible for free airport transportation.

But bookings that come from travel advisors are excluded, it appears.

“The complimentary transfer feature is only accessible through the hotel management company's dedicated brand websites,” confirmed Jennifer Castillo, an account executive with FINN Partners, which represents Blue Diamond Resorts, in an email to PAX on Wednesday (Sept. 20).

Blue Diamond Resorts, which is owned by Sunwing Travel Group, encompass Royalton Luxury Resorts, Royalton CHIC Resorts, Hideaway at Royalton Resorts, Planet Hollywood Beach Resorts, Mystique by Royalton, Grand Lido Resorts, and Starfish Resorts.

The free transfer is available to guests booking in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Grenada, Antigua, and Saint Lucia, the company says.
