Aisle to isle: Here’s the latest wedding inspirations from Sandals & Beaches Resorts

Sandals Resorts International has revealed new and modernized wedding décor Inspirations, which debut as the centrepiece of “Aisle to Isle” Caribbean Weddings by Sandals and Aisle to Isle Caribbean Weddings by Beaches ahead of 2024. 

The company says the inspirations speak authentically to its all-inclusive resorts, while capturing the magic of the Caribbean islands.

“It all starts with choosing an idyllic wedding locale and we’re proud to be synonymous with some of the best destination wedding locations around the world,” said Marsha-Ann Donaldson-Brown, director of weddings and romance at Sandals Resorts International. “In fact, we surveyed over 1,000 newlyweds and brides-to-be with an overwhelming 70 per cent of couples prioritizing scenery and location as the single most important elements of a destination wedding.”

“This became part of our creative influence to bring forward chic new decor concepts, embedded with meaning and intended to bring our guests and couples closer to place. We simply can’t wait to share the unique richness of the Caribbean with our guests and debut these new inspirations this wedding season.” 

The latest inspo 

The designs speak to the latest trends in destination weddings, Sandals says, with Inspirations serving as just that – inspiration – so couples still have the opportunity to personalize their big day.  

Across the islands, beyond-the-norm ceremony seating layouts, winsome tablescapes, and whimsical floral arrangements – with styles ranging from sea-green and aquamarine decor elements that play up the absorbing hues of the Caribbean Sea in Azure Tides, to the blush tones and rustic designs inspired by a natural style of Blissful Beach – are all brought forward as a starting point for couples to design their perfect day. 

Wrapped in a palette of soft pink, deep blush, and ivory with gold accents, Sunkissed Skies is reflective of the Caribbean’s iconic sunsets, while Enchanting Sands is the meeting point between an ocean blue backdrop with soft-toned seating on the sand.

Paradise Bloom presents a fresh green and white colour palette with a modern-day, tropical twist - complemented by fresh coconut water and cocktails to get guests in the island mindset when the sun goes down.

Local flair begets local inspiration. At Sandals Royal Curaçao, billowing ivory fabrics, cream florals, and green succulents await as Curaçao Desert Blooms mirrors the flora and colour palette unique to this diverse Dutch Caribbean paradise.

In Nassau at Sandals Royal Bahamian, a bold colour palette and ceremony seating configuration shaped like a conch shell – complete with a ceremonial conch blower to signal a wealth of luck – brings to life Bahamian Seashells, while Bahamian Rush incorporates vibrant magenta hues and handmade reception napkins made of authentic Bahamian Androsia batik fabric, produced exclusively on the Island of Andros with elements representative of the Bahamian culture.
