Onvigo marks two years, honours travel advisors at 2025 gala

Action, community strength, progress.

Those were the themes behind Onvigo’s second-annual Advisor Gala, an event on Dec. 3 that brought together independent travel advisors from across Canada.

This year’s theme, TWO-GETHER, reflected a simple truth – “when advisors move forward, the entire community follows,” reads a press release.

The Gala recognized the people whose daily decisions, client care, and business focus continue to shape Onvigo’s future.

At 7:00 p.m. EST that night, a virtual room came alive. Advisors also showed up in gala attire, travel-inspired looks, and wide smiles.

The #OnvigoGala2025 Selfie Challenge carried an energy across social feeds, reminding everyone that community creates confidence.

2025 Advisor Awards

A key moment of the night was the presentation of the 2025 Advisor Awards.

“These awards honoured advisors who turned intention into action and action into results,” the company said. “Winners showed how steady effort builds trust, drives bookings, and strengthens the role of independent advisors in Canada.”

Award winners included:

• Top Cruise Advisor – Satapon Wirojwong
• Top Guided Tour Advisor – Sandra Ettore
• Top Sun Advisor – Tina Johnston
• Most Supportive ITA – Carrie Vercillo
• Up and Comer ITA – Marlene Henderson
• Community Superstar – Taryn Day
• Marketing Superstar – Abdus Sadeque

“A goal without a plan is just a wish, and our community deserves more than wishes. Advisors who step into 2026 with clarity and a solid strategy will create the momentum that moves the whole network forward. Community creates confidence, and confidence fuels results,” said Shean Carmichael, director of host agency operations at Onvigo, in a statement.

Sharing its plans for 2026, Onvigo says it will be expanding its supplier Partnership Program.
