Envoyage hosts iconic celebration at luxurious Maldives resort

Fifty Envoyage members from around the world were recently treated to four days of island luxury in the Maldives as part of the brand’s most prestigious annual reward event, Icons.
The attendees represent the top 10 selling advisors from each of Envoyage’s five regions: Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and the United States.
Along with a guest of their choice, Icons were flown to Heritance Aarah Maldives Resort via private seaplane and greeted with spa vouchers and champagne before commencing four days of celebration, exploration and rejuvenation.
Global Managing Director Danielle Galloway said Icons encapsulates the essence of what it means to be an Envoyage member.
“Icons is not just a reward but a testament to the extraordinary efforts of the people who strive for excellence and help propel our brand forward. As we gather at the breathtaking Heritance Aarah Resort, we celebrate not only individual achievements but the collective spirit that unites us as the Envoyage family. Across all the islands of the Maldives, people walk around with their hand over their heart. It is a sign of welcoming visitors with respect and appreciation," she stated.
“Our 2024 Icons were able to experience the beautiful culture of the Maldivian people, whose beautiful nature aligns with our vision of being the home and heart of the travel industry, where aspiration, connection, and exceptional experience converge.
“I cherish the opportunity to connect with our highest performing members and wonderful event partners every year at Icons and come away so energized from each conversation. We have some incredible entrepreneurs as part of our global network.”
Celebrate, share, connect
Envoyage VP and GM Anita Emilio said the retreat was an inspiring platform to honour the exceptional achievements of its entrepreneurial members and strengthen connections across global regions.
“Witnessing our members celebrate their milestones, share expertise, and build relationships within our extended Envoyage family was incredibly rewarding. It embodies the essence of our brand’s core values—endurance, entrepreneurialism, and engagement—and reinforces our commitment to supporting them on every journey they take. The Maldives offered an ideal, aspirational backdrop that mirrored our mission: to inspire, rejuvenate, and empower our members as they continue to elevate their professional journeys with Envoyage," Emilio said.
Julie Smigadis of Travel Our World shared her memorable experience: "Being recognized within the Envoyage community has been an incredible honour. This year was particularly special, as we gathered in the Maldives – a dream destination that tops countless bucket lists.”
“Envoyage is an extraordinary network of passionate, global travel professionals who not only uplift one another but also inspire continuous growth and innovation. This recognition is a testament to the collaborative spirit and deep-rooted love for travel within this community, and I’m truly grateful to be part of it," she said in a press release.
