Travel Edge recently hosted Limitless Live: Crafting the Extraordinary at the Kimpton Santo Hotel in San Antonio, bringing together its luxury travel advisors and top partners for three days of networking, learning, and celebrating achievements.

The event opened with remarks from Andy Pilkington, president of Travel Edge, and Gail Banack, SVP, who set the stage with a clear and ambitious vision for the luxury host agency.

Pilkington emphasized Travel Edge’s core mission: to inspire both travelers and advisors to seek experiences truly worthy of them.

He also highlighted the company’s commitment to proprietary technology that streamlines booking processes, maximizes advisor revenue and commissions, and fosters strong relationships with luxury travel partners to ensure exclusive perks, amenities, and experiences for clients.

“Our advisors are at the heart of everything we do,” said Pilkington, as shared in a press release about the event. “Limitless Live is more than just an event; it’s a reflection of our commitment to empowering them with the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive. Whether it’s our enhanced technology, expanded training opportunities, or the elite partnerships we foster, everything is designed to help our advisors deliver extraordinary experiences to their clients.”

Key achievements

Among the many highlights of 2024, Travel Edge shared key achievements as well as what’s ahead for 2025, including:

The launch of an extensive new hotel directory, designed to provide advisors with seamless access to the world’s most elite sought-after accommodations.

Upgraded owned channels and a refreshed website, reinforcing the Travel Edge brand as a leader in luxury travel.

A renewed focus on social media, with enhancements rolling out in the coming weeks to reflect a more aspirational and luxury-forward presence.

Growing regional office presence and engagement in response to advisor feedback.

Expanding advisor growth

Travel Edge revealed plans to expand its Knowledge Trips program in collaboration with luxury partners.

Advisors will have the chance to experience destinations firsthand with immersive journeys to Iceland, Peru, Fiji, and Austria. Additionally, responding to advisor interest, Travel Edge is adding more mini FAM trips to domestic and city-based destinations such as Carmel Valley Ranch, JW Marriott Marco Island, The Ritz-Carlton Toronto, Langham Hotels, and more.

The Top Performer recognition program will also see an evolution, offering exclusive small-group travel experiences to reward high-performing advisors.

This year’s destinations include New Zealand, Hong Kong, Turkey, Spain, Dubai, and Scotland, reinforcing Travel Edge’s dedication to curating unique, high-touch experiences for its top-tier advisors.

Edge Champions & Travel Advisor Committee

Two years ago, Travel Edge launched the Champions program that is comprised of a hand selected group of advisors that represents Travel Edge at industry events, trade shows, in the media and other related activities.

Recently, advisors were invited to apply for membership to this elite group with new members announced at Limitless.

Comprised of advisors from across the network with varying levels of experience and expertise—including many top performers themselves—this group is committed to continuously improving Travel Edge for all advisors.

Luxury travel on the rise

As luxury travel continues to surge, several sessions and speakers focused on distinguishing oneself through the power of personalization and the art of crafting unforgettable client experiences.

Limitless Live provided an opportunity for Travel Edge advisors to hear directly from partners on how they are innovating their offerings to meet travelers’ growing expectations for personalized experiences.

The event was attended by nearly 100 top luxury advisors and 50 key partners, including top sponsors: Ultimate Jet Vacations; Regent; Kensington; Explora Journeys; Qatar Airways; Ama Waterways and TempoVIP.

Transformative power of travel

Banack also announced a new partnership with World Central Kitchen, an organization that responds to crises around the world by delivering fresh, chef-prepared meals with speed, dignity, and compassion.

For every dollar donated, Navigatr Group, Travel Edge’s parent company, will match the donation 1:1 to double the impact.

And the award goes to…

At the closing dinner, several awards were given to celebrate stellar achievements of advisors. This included:

  • Trailblazer in the Making – Michael Mason Trager
  • Beat Team Spirit –  MaryDee Snow
  • Mentor Extraordinaire – Michael Kahan

“From the initial announcement and all the pre-event planning and communication to the hotel selection, agenda and very engaged travel advisors, this was one of the best conferences we have attended recently,” stated Chris Austin, president of Explora Journeys, North America.

“The event was not only valuable but also seamlessly executed, allowing us to connect, learn, and engage in meaningful discussions,” stated Diana Katzeff, a Travel Edge advisor. “The effort and attention to detail that went into creating such a well-structured experience did not go unnoticed, and it truly enhanced our role as travel advisors."
