Fareconnect's 2025 conference brings energy & connection to Edmonton

The Fareconnect Annual Conference 2025 wrapped up a vibrant and successful weekend at the Sandman Signature Sherwood Park Hotel in Edmonton from October 2–5. 

Over 100 travel agents from across Canada gathered to connect, learn, and celebrate alongside more than 21 preferred suppliers. The event featured a dynamic mix of educational sessions, networking opportunities, and entertainment, all designed to empower travel professionals and strengthen industry relationships.

One of the standout moments of the conference was the lively Music Poker Night, where agents and suppliers came together for an evening of fun and camaraderie. The room was filled with laughter and song as attendees enthusiastically sang along to classic hits, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of unity and joy.

The Gala Night, sponsored by key suppliers, was another highlight, offering attendees a chance to indulge in exquisite cuisine, win exciting prizes, and celebrate the achievements of top-performing agents and agent voted supplier awards. 

The CEO of Fareconnect.com, Rick Gaudet, spoke about the successful year of the company with sales up 21 per cent over the previous year including the companies first million-dollar sale. 

He also announced a new diamond level for agents who have earned $100,000 or more during the previous year. He concluded by reiterating the core values of Fareconnect, honesty, Integrity and the commitment to maintain the personable feel to all 500 agents from coast to coast.

The evening was a heartfelt tribute to the dedication and success of Fareconnect’s vibrant travel advisor community.

Beyond the festivities, the conference provided invaluable opportunities for agents to build meaningful connections with BDMs and fellow professionals. 

Attendees were inspired and motivated, while enjoying the chance to share insights, strategies, and stories. 

As one agent noted in a press release: “It’s more than just a conference—it’s a chance to recharge, reconnect, and reignite our passion for travel.” 

With its perfect blend of education, entertainment, and networking, the Fareconnect Conference 2025 proved once again why it’s a must-attend event for members across the country.
