Universal to open Volcano Bay in 2017

Universal Orlando Resort will unveil its new Volcano Bay theme park in 2017, a new water park for the entire family.

Work is already underway on the park, which will immerse guests in a tropical island setting, featuring attractions for both thrill-seekers and those looking for a more relaxing experience. The park will be located within Universal Orlando just south of the Cabana Bay Beach Resort, joining Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure as the resort’s third park. 

In 2016, Universal Orlando will also open Skull Island: Reign of Kong and Loews Sapphire Falls Resort.
